UPDATE ONLY?
Barack Obama gave the following speech
on March 18th, 2008
which has come to be know as:
"a more perfect union"? **

U P D A T E . B E L O W (SEE BREAK)

A great speech which I challenge anyone with a heart to listen to.
And for those who prefer to read
the text: in his own words.
or my peremptory comments here.
Obama is right, now what will others write? Never mind.
[Obama Explains Wright, Will McCain Explain the Far Right? 3-18-08]
As far as The Day After... and speechless:
Five years ago that day the war began.
Honor the dead and fighting, by hard work.
But belated? another speech.
[The Day After...3-19-08]
[BTW: articulated throwing under the bus? No Joke: 11-8-02 not update but a back draft, whiffed at by Ed Schultz today. My further update in the next hour as far as going far enough: a caller wanted to move on from race because of her fears of the dialogue* and its circular nature, but that is why Obama should be heard over and over in order to get through to the herd that are only sheep. Thanks to Cheryl and the process.]
* she is right about the media that feeds the dialogue and the sheep, but the only food is the proper light to face it head on. A ram charger, not to dodge or forget the ewe.

The Ed Schultz Show and thanks to caller Jeff
for an inspiring speech in defense of pews on Where America comes to talk.
A Tribute to McCain: So Plain - - In Spain,
Raining McCain - - A Good Sense of Trickle Down.(And math and English "24/7" in particular 3-4-08?)
McCain gives response "to that heart felt statement"
of his and mine and the old GOP.
And tort reform from Hillary? Not exactly.
QCON: Working group a good idea,
but link of war to economy is key. Reform of system that puts investor profits and executive bailouts over failure of so-called free markets, may be a pincer attack that Obama and Clinton can perform on the trickle-down. Meanwhile as far as pressure to get out of Iraq, remembering who the commander-in-chief is, not that he should get his way, but his way of getting out may be hampered by who he and his crowd are. They could leave a disaster as bad as they believe it will be, because they can or rather because they are unwilling to do what might work. Putting the war on the books is a start. The New Wave
Having survived the tide of the caucuses I turn to the next matters.
For now I simply post two links, only the latter has been fully read.
X*Y ... *
and John McCain's qualifications to be President?
here are some I hope to follow up on:
Let the Swiftboating Begin.
and Deadly Invitation
They look forward to the next opponent
and the magic * of the media.
Meanwhile to keep that top burner: I will note that my precinct with 86 voters elected 6 Obama and 3 Clinton delegates. And I may provide further comment in that regard.
* note: there are two *'s beyond the one in the X*Y context and note the watery links as well. They say "a rising tide lifts all boats" unless there is a hole in it or others trickle down in yours, but "hope floats" someone said I think and the tide still runs from the man with hope and the woman from hope or back again. I just tide that in with what I hope to get back to here. (spelling hopefully intentional, but I'll check later, I ran it by spell check [Y] )
[2-18-08: QCON: The term "Swiftboating" does not do justice to the task, given its history. It would seem to imply a campaign of disinformation, rather than some clarity. Maybe Clearwater would work, in retribution for Whitewater, Blackwater, and Swiftboating. Maybe Ironycladding would work? And one more for me to read. If McCain's a Moderate, I'm the Easter Bunny*. seems that some doth protest too much. Yet he is the best they can come up with. Oh, unless the original was a flip-flop? Meaning I have to reread the earlier to see if a skilled editor is implying that the swiftboating will be coming from the right. Duh! i.e. sacrificial goat. Bingo. No ageism intended. Meaning who better to swiftboat than a veteran of swiftboating. But I think that the editor was not as swift as I imply, and the writer implies what I wish to flip-flop.**
* No holiday connection, but this article (I did read) is a twofer on the McCain and the Media front. ** Howbout: FlipFlopperKrafting.]

Do Nothing Filibuster
First I must say there has been progress. (Updated)
But there is need for a flip-flop while it is still a high wire act if you do the math.
On the bright side a comparison to the Republican wave of 1994 and the 1997 congress shows Democrats getting things done. But if we could get it together there are 10 Democrats that are so called "not progressive", and some of the best known "progressives" rated "only kinda" number another 11.(from above: you do the math) But Democrats should be able to get it together to highlite the fact that they have made progress despite their numbers and the media coverage.
A recent whine of the right about the media could be the occasion for investigations, but that would be too much on the table. So maybe I have made my own flip-flop here or lost momentum in the math of getting it together. But when it comes to accountability, it is easy to get fired up again.
Basically the math is so difficult, not just because of the unity of Republicans and the diversity of Democrats, but the bulk of problems that have resulted from the variables in the equation of our constitutional government, and what is for someseemingly {*} only political calculus.
[BREAKING/BROKEN? If there were ever time for a filibuster: THIS IS IT! not to mention INVESTIGATIONS!]

Tails Aside
I mean Tales...or mythification.
My wife and I were taking a walk before the Apple Cup (The Husky-Cougar match-up)and ran across a house divided, speaking of tents, big or united. The game was not really on my mind that morning when I whipped up the tale of Cats and Dogs, but as we walked by this house, the wind must have blown, and their flag seemed to speak for the future. Huskies won 35-28 with 44 seconds left. It was a bad week for cats which will hopefully lead to a good week or more for 44.

A pause-itive thought.
Infinity.
If there is an infinity of time going forward and back, why not the now.
Well, the space-time "continuum" deals with that.
Then, I have three blogs. They are not mine. They are just called mine on my Blogspot dashboard.
I don't actually follow them. They just happen to deal with material and what matters in a parallel way.

The GOP’s Purity Problem
BTW: I am not conned by Darwin's God. I've only begun to think and thread lede or ships.
Models are the new frontier. Reading is not fundamental. Math is the bigger picture.
The Dems have a purity problem to, transparency is problematic and Darwin's God may be ironic.

The Ed Effect!
I just heard Ed Schultz call it, The Pre-Midterm Mandate. He noted that he had mentioned it last night. Not having found it yet, I might add that when you consider the wave, the medium/the mess age, it is a case of divide and cover age. The frustrated are fleeing the muddle. The only call is to challenge the middle.

Amazing Precedence
Not really, I occasionally agree with a Republican. Senator Richard Lugar(Republican) challenges Democrats to hold the vote on the "Trust but Verify". And I would say to all Democrats "call their bluff". But there is a bit of false equivalence*, in staying the course.[**]

Firing vs. Hiring
McCain Not Exactly Highering.
[update 9-19-08: bold [*] and link added below]
A recent comment by McCain about firing someone is what I take off from. My point is, it is easier for him to fire someone than hire someone [*] who would raise the standards of government. This seems to shine through in his hiring which lowers the standards and raises the bar for the rest of us. It was also touched on in his acceptance speech in regards to service, how easy it is to just get in there and change things. To me it is rather confusing, does he know enough or does he need a study?
He proceeded to wave a finger about Obama not lifting a finger. I don't have that link(to finger phrase), but I did find what it seems is a bit of borrowing, if I recall. Something about "A regulatory structure set up for banks in the 1930s needed to change because the nature of business had changed." said Obama in above link and recently lifted by McCain. The irony is complete in that the lifting was political and a flip-flop when he complained that Obama was using the issue for political gain.
[*] Rachell Maddow points out that the president cannot fire the SEC chairman, as McCain would do if he were president. But he made an even greater faux pas in foreign affairs. Or was it really faux pax pas in dissing Spain.

Speaking of tuning...
The Ed Schultz Show and the Rachel Maddow Show seemed to be operating on the same wave length, but with a bit of a backwash on the issue of who the Democratic candidate will be.[*] I will try to bracket the Fine Tuning with the tangents it led to, but here are some other points: The Process? [**] and A Source
And the guest on The Ed Schultz Show: Jonathan Alter
Scoping Out Obama vs. McCain
To be bracketed...
maybe but my point is: Go filter!
Ed and Rachel have valid assessments and processing of information which the campaigns could aspire to and hopefully run with. If only I could pull more from them.
[*] is it over or is there hope?
[**] It is a valid point that primaries reflect more "moderates and independents" than caucuses, but that is by intention that parties should have a right to pick their own candidates, of course with due consideration of other issues, but as for Washington, there is an added question of whether those that showed up for caucuses bothered to also vote in the primary which for Democrats, will not count in the process.

The %th EleFont
Not to jump in the Lakoff, but my original heading was The %th Element*. Which was a type-oh or capital gain on taking the 5th. Well, not that far.(But maybe we will see.) The 5th Element was meant as reference to Roman numeral "v" for the sake of my table ofor con tents. But it is still to be determined what page this is.
So with this lede or misspell, it may be prophetic GeOhMeTry. i.e. Seg Way to my original intents.
(Speaking of See Sea D? An Ed segue Center on Communicable Downers re:caller who thought the court is a dictionary.)
Speaking of Attacks Dogs and hold-ups...or holders?
[This was a heckuva sojourn.]
The original trigger:
Stephanie Miller ;-) Referencing Sarah Palin on the need to decimate the filter. How who "chose their one" and "ushered him" into office. Palin loses the God Particle.
Translation from the wings: Sarah Palin wants to kill the medium.
pc? speaking of wave NOT! Zed?
[but who knows]
* All of the above was here** before I finished there. And well B4 Martin Bashir similarly rants. Speaking of house of cards or Dawn Key Lake Offs! Not to mention Vast Wind Mills.
** except first three(4) links (re:there)

Infotainment Update... NOT [*]
NECESSARILY. [**]
Digging into the article in Commondreams.org,
U.S. Videos, for TV News, Come Under Scrutiny,
by Robert Pear New York Times, I found this:
[FEATURED ARTICLE ***]
Speaking of: The Role of the Citizen
by Tom Avila of (CCJ),
which sums up the media part of this blog and the Wave.
In that regard, maybe some citizens can read this,
and PLEASE report back
the latest on fake news and where we are in correcting it and the FCC's course.
[*] NO APRIL FOOLS?
at least on my previous post, but here? Bam! Zap! Pow! Really? (nyfr)

Fine Tuning.
THE GAME (Slightly updated: bold Stay the Course - job->search) The topic is our job which is to help navigate embedded with a link to help you navigate. Not to mention bottom links that brings some news to light if you go there, or sometimes just a previous connection as below.
In this case, The New Wave is a switch in focus from the battle for the Democratic Candidate to the Republican potential candidate and the media who is filtering it all. The issue of negative campaigning and super delegates are an example of what may make for a rocky boat. They are not easy to explain away, but there are so many perspectives that it is not just a matter of declaring what is the will of the people. There is a process that people are a part of and parties are a part of. It is unfortunate there are not alternatives in some cases, but playing like they are part of the process is no better. What I am alluding to is that without something such as Instant Run-off Voting any wish that things should go smoothly is a pipe dream. Not that things won't turn out to be much smoother than anticipated, but each voter must accept that they have a part that is no bigger than the next voter, but that involvement does matter. Finally, (obtuse as I am) 1. charges of lack of substance must have substance themselves 2. charges with substance are not negative campaigning, but the voter is the decider 3. super delegates are not super nor necessarily committed.

Poetic Justice
Right Face Left Faith
Great minds think alike
But being alike does not make right
Being right may make might
But more important is thinking
Right?
Being right is more likely
Why great minds will think alike
Thinking may not be so likely
In those that just think might
Right.
Faith is nowhere near alike
The truth that others think is might
Faith is might and more like maybe
Unless you only think it's right
Not maybe!

Fearnauts
There is no good and evil.
There are only goods and needs
and wants, and no freedom
from them.
So work on the good,
not just the goods
and justice will flow,
not evil.
Fear not but face good
and fear will fly.
Fearnauts may fly,
but will is not
just the stuff of dreams.
Fear may be,
but results,
don’t have to be
but will.
(not to mention psychology and physics)
Unified Poem
Everything
is but
a Wave
between
perspectives
in Time
and Space
(Theme: Fear of Disciplines in particular Economics.)
[This falls in the tinkering and filing category, not to mention labels or discipline, let alone hiatus. Hint? In Updated find #6 ]Or Bottom line? Or writing for the right?
[Irony of all ironies or poetic justice, I must admit to an erroneous leap myself. Long story short:"Further evidenced by what runs fourth in this search: "lying in ponds", by William Safire, a study of partisanship I will spare for later. But look to the section he titled Philosophy, a word he equated with "blow(ing) smoke"** when referring to Dean." "Philosophical" was a word he used to lower the boom on Dean, but it was not he but about him(Safire) in which Lying in Ponds had a category of Philosophy. Which does not really shake my perspective, but complicates references to #6 and bumps into #7.]

The GOP and who started it?
Belay me timbers. Oh...
A belated hint for the No ageism intended. of The New Wave. (Old Irony Clad)
And then there was the subtle caution under the Ferraro Flap of the Bottom Line Updated: "But then should we be careful of ageism here?"
Not exactly! The GOP is "The Grand Old Party"! And a bit redux, or is that old school?
Is this not the ultimate innoculation? Could we call him a limey? Now is that a bit off target or a coolname?
[Speaking of old links or loose lips or lime in your coconut: Not to mention Rachel Maddow / DeFazio was the link un-noted: a one: ... and uh two or rather flip-flop that in time.]

53 Hours*
[POSTED 5-6-10: This item was saved in draft as noted, and it was a wise wing walk **. I am no longer puzzled but will draw more from draft, and leave leaking the tangents below.]
I am still puzzled about a CSM article.
Truly Horizons that need updating somewhere apparently and ironically.
P.S. my Wave Label has not been kept up(clearly) although the con text has advanced in other 4mats and meta4s.
* pun on "24 minutes" (yes I believe I heard that) but I am sure it was just a misspeak. Yet I am doing as they say**.
Sub Text: Hint Gulf Leak Submission?
Not to mention NBC ad re Fox: and Cheney's Gulf Golf/Gee Oh Me Try and Newtons Fig Tangent. Olbermann Pushed On NBC! Cussing The Riggers. Fig'N Calculus But it is more personal than that.
[Posted as is, date & time reflect first draft.]

[Sweep Tea Partiers under the Astroturf with Swifter-(see coupons above)]
[Olbermann: Terrorist Panels and...
Psssst. THEY DRUG OLD PEOPLE.
Rachel Maddow and the party of nope & rope a dope.]
* Boycott FOX and wave at Walmart and P&G for their agreement.
